We collaborate with health care providers to complement and supplement the care for each patient. A detailed and individualized care plan is developed to suit the needs and goals of each patient. Through direct links with the Downtown East Side (with our “VIDC Community Pop-Up Clinics” and EnTEnTE initiatives), we seek to Engage patients at risk of HIV & HCV in Testing to determine their status, Engage them in care by developing an appropriate Treatment plan, and maintain Engagement throughout the course of treatment and beyond.
The dedicated team of physicians, nurses, researchers and support staff at VIDC are focused on one thing:
Providing with the best available treatment and delivering it in the best possible way.
The Vancouver Infectious Diseases Centre (VIDC) is at the forefront of bridging the gap between excellence in research and exemplary healthcare delivery. Through our research programs -- including sponsor-initiated clinical trials, observational cohort studies, and investigator-initiated research programs -- we make strides in scientific advancement while providing access to treatment for marginalized and vulnerable populations. VIDC is appreciated academically and scientifically for its research and honored to present at various forums and conferences both nationally and internationally.

The Centre Médical Francophone de Vancouver (CMFV) is a medical clinic focused on providing primary care to Francophones and Francophiles in the Greater Vancouver Area. We recognize and address the need for patients to be able to express themselves in their mother tongue in order to receive the best possible care. By providing services in French, we aim to foster an environment to promote patient engagement.
