For Dr. Conway and his team at the Vancouver Infectious Diseases Centre (VIDC), HCV treatment is not just as simple as writing a prescription. As a firm believer of long-term patient engagement and partnership, him and his team began the Community Pop Up Clinic (CPC) in 2013 for free, treating HCV in over 500 individuals to date. He efforts in advancing Hepatitis elimination was recognized by the Coalition for Global Hepatitis Elimination, along with 5 other international Clinicians and Advocates.
